At the Opening Ceremony of the 2023 - 2024 school year of Vietnam National University of Agriculture (VNUA) held on the evening of November 17, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi Lan, President of the University, sent her expectations to new students.

The University has quickly identified and prepared the best conditions to become a multi-disciplinary, multi-field university. Besides traditional majors, the University's teachers have actively researched and published new, modern research projects that meet the requirements of the 4.0 revolution. Therefore, we have trained many strong fields that are in high demand in the labor market, such as socio-economic sectors, engineering - technology - life sciences sectors.
"The diversity of training fields has given the University a new vitality, a new stature and mentality, ready to respond to the cause of industrialization, modernization of agriculture and rural areas and international integration.", Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi Lan affirmed.

Sending message to new students, she asserted that selecting VNUA for studying is completely correct and wise since the University always determines "learners are the center".
The President of VNUA pledged to do all the best so that students can have an environment "worth learning, worth living in, worth experiencing" and "worth cherishing", at the same time advised: "You need to remember that "university" is only the beginning, not the "destination". The road ahead is not only roses but full of "thorns", there is no achievement without sweat and tears. You need to build yourself an ambition and dream, and always nurture that dream with the most positive energy."
Expressing his feelings after becoming a student in VNUA, Nguyen Truong Xuan- student of class K68KTNNA, Faculty of Economics and Rural Development, valedictorian of the University's 2023 university admission stated that he was still extremely surprised when experienced the actual classes and extracurricular activities during the past time.
On this occasion, VNUA awarded scholarships to 1 valedictorian and 2 salutatorians in the University's 2023 university entrance exam. Along with that are more than 30 scholarships to study abroad; talented students; support training and development of high-quality human resources in some key agricultural regions in Vietnam. The University also commended and rewarded 13 outstanding students from 13 faculties for the 2022-2023 school year.
Within the framework of the Opening Ceremony of the 2023 - 2024 school year, VNUA was also honored to receive a certificate of recognition of meeting educational quality standards from the Center for Educational Quality Accreditation (Hanoi National University).
