On September 6, 2024, a delegation of Stanley Corporation Japan had an official working visit to Vietnam National University of Agriculture (VNUA) with the aim of promoting cooperation and discussing scholarship program for VNUA students.

On the side of VNUA, there were Dr. Nguyen Cong Tiep, Vice President of VNUA; Dr. Giang Trung Khoa, Director of Student and Political Affairs Office; representative leaders of some functional units and students. On the side of the delegation of Stanley Corporation of Japan, there were Mr. Kutsuzawa, Senior Executive Director of Stanley Corporation of Japan (Manager of Kitano Scholarship Fund); Mr. Akira Kikuchi, Executive Director of Stanley Electric Vietnam Co., Ltd.; Mr. Nguyen Van Dan, Head of Human Resources Department of Stanley Electric Vietnam Co., Ltd. along with some other members.

Speaking at the meeting, Dr. Nguyen Cong Tiep expressed his delight at receiving the delegation of Stanley Corporation Japan to VNUA and sincerely thanked Mr. Kutsuzawa for his attendance. Dr. Tiep kindly requested Mr. Kutsuzawa to continue supporting VNUA in developing projects in strong fields of the Stanley Corporation Japa. Dr. Nguyen Cong Tiep highlighted that since 2007, the Kitano Scholarship Fund has sponsored scholarships for 15 students of VNUA who have faced with toughness in life but have excellent academic performance. The Fund will continue to provide students with scholarships in the subsequent years if they maintain excellent records. The scholarship of 2 billion VND per student is granted to 200 ones. Mr. Kutsuzawa sent his thank for the thoughtful and warm welcome from VNUA. He strongly hoped that VNUA and Stanley Corporation Japan would enhance bilateral cooperation in training and scientific research, especially in the field of technology. Mr. Kutsuzawa also expected that the Scholarship would partly help students reduce the burden of study costs. Stanley Group Japan will continue Kitano scholarships for students and always open the doors for students to do their internship, and offer job opportunities for them after graduation.

Representing students receiving scholarships from the Kitano Scholarship Fund, Nguyen Ngoc Huyen expressed her gratitude to the scholarship fund and Mr. Kutsuzawa for providing scholarships for students. The scholarship is the motivation for them to overcome difficulties. Huyen also promised to try her best to study to be worthy of the support of the Kitano Scholarship Fund and the care and encouragement of teachers at VNUA.

After the meeting, the delegation visited some VNUA affiliates. The two sides agreed to continue fruitful cooperation and develop potential projects.
