In order to improve the training quality of Vietnam National University of Agriculture, in the period from 2018 to 2023, the Faculty of Information Technology has signed cooperation agreements with many domestic and foreign enterprises in scientific training and research in the field of Information Technology, including Computer Science, Computer Networks and Data Communication, Information Systems, and Software Development, etc. The cooperation with enterprises aimed at introducing a variety of practical facilities training for students, introducing jobs to students after graduation, encouraging students to study, actively participating in scientific research, increasing job opportunities suitable to their majors and also providing the Faculty with objective evaluation of their training program.
Specifically, since 2018, the Faculty of Information Technology had signed cooperation agreements with 10 companies/enterprises who support training, provide student internships, and coordinate in organizing conferences, scientific seminars and workshops, promoting scientific research, and providing enterprise scholarship program for excellent students of the Faculty, etc. These were the specific cooperation contents in order to exploit the strengths of each party and effectively implement cooperation activities, training cooperation, and provide students with needed guidance to build and develop high-tech application software for the agricultural sector in Vietnam. The Faculty’s enterprise partners included NIC GROUP Joint Stock Company, 1C Vietnam Co., Ltd., Codelovers Vietnam Joint Stock Company, Zent Education Joint Stock Company, and GoGroupM Company, etc. Each year, there were hundreds of students being introduced by the Faculty to undertake the internships at these companies. After graduation, many students had been accepted by these internship companies with well-paid salaries. In addition to the fields of training and scientific research, every year, these companies encourage excellent and talented students through providing valuable scholarships. In 2022, students of the Faculty of Information Technology, VNUA, received many scholarships with a total value of nearly 100 million VND from NIC GROUP and Zent Education Joint Stock Company.

Enterprises and employers were the most important partners in determining recruitment needs, assessing whether the quality of training outputs is consistent with work practices or not. Close cooperation with enterprises and employers in training would create more opportunities for learners to practice their careers, experience reality, access the most advanced technologies, and create favorable conditions for students to combine theory with practice. During the internship, students had the opportunity to improve their practical skills and soft skills; as a result, after graduation, the students would have acquired good knowledge, skills, and more favorable opportunities in their job search journey.
The cooperation between the Faculty of Information Technology, VNUA, and enterprises helped to open up many opportunities for the faculty's students. The Faculty of Information Technology strived to connect and cooperate with more leading IT enterprises to improve the quality of training and scientific research in the coming years.
