In the jubilant atmosphere of the whole country celebrating the 41st Anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day (November 20, 1982 - November 20, 2023), on the morning of November 20, 2023, at Hall A, Vietnam National University of Agriculture (VNUA) organized the 41st Anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day. The ceremony is an opportunity for officials, employees and students to demonstrate the traditions of respecting teachers, "Drinking water, remember the source" , and sending gratitude and honor to all the teachers who have been teaching at VNUA. At the same time, this is also an opportunity to honor groups and individuals with outstanding contributions and achievements in teaching and scientific research.

In a speech commemorating Vietnamese Teachers' Day November 20, 2023, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi Lan – President of the University, a National Assembly Delegate reviewed the glorious tradition that generations of University’s teachers and students have been trying tirelessly to achieve proud achievements like today. Those achievements are the efforts of generations of teachers and the hard work and diligence of generations of students on the path to knowledge to prepare themselves to ready for the future.
Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi Lan said: "Looking back at the recent journey, despite facing various obstacles and new challenges such as: Issues of autonomy, the trend of choosing a career among high school students, competition among universities, pressure in the trend technologization and internationalization of higher education. However, with solidarity, consensus, and determination, we have found opportunities in challenges; Dare to think, dare to do, create together, overcome difficulties and have achieved encouraging results. "Facing challenges in the career choice trends of high school students, the University always completes its set enrollment targets. For the field of scientific research and international cooperation: The University has reviewed and completed important regulations in scientific management and technology transfer activities, creating motivation for these activities to develop and become more disciplined. Elite, excellent research groups and strong research groups continue to demonstrate their leading role, international publication is enhanced; Spin off models are increasingly perfected and effective. Speaking at the ceremony, Nguyen Thi Huyen Linh – a student of K65CNSHB class, Faculty of Biotechnology, representing more than 27,000 students at the University, shared: "During my learning journey in VNUA, from the young age of 18 with a lot of confusions about the future path I had chosen, I was fortunate to have the dedicated and wonderful direction and guidance of my teachers. During nearly 4 years of studying at the University, each of my classes was a new page, opening up new horizons of knowledge; Each teacher's lecture is the essence drawn from many years of research and teaching, through each class, each generation of students; Each class is not simply about book knowledge, for me, it is like stories that mark every step of the journey the teachers have gone through, I have discovered, heard and seen. I have learned years of enthusiasm through every teacher's teachings, and I believe that my youth will shine brightly in the protective arms and guidance of VNUA’s teachers. And the fact that I am honored, representing more than 27,000 students, standing here today is the clearest proof of that belief. I believe that not only me but also all other student who have been studying at the University are also have many precious memories that every time we talk about them, we will be very proud of our great teachers".

Attending the ceremony, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Agricultural Development Tran Thanh Nam sent his warmest regards and best wishes on the occasion of Vietnam Teachers' Day to generations of teachers, officials, public employees, and workers; students, trainees and graduate students of the University. He said: “In addition to being assigned by the Ministry of Education and Training, VNUA is also assigned by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development to provide training to serve quality agricultural production and reduce waste growth, towards an effective and sustainable agricultural economy." Deputy Minister Tran Thanh Nam also reminded the leaders of the VNUA that, with the advantages of the past 67 years and prestige in the international arena, the University should go deeper and continue to expand centers and innovate in agriculture, green agriculture, and ecological agriculture so that students and alumni can come here as a place to start a business. Promote activities to continue bringing scientific knowledge into social life.

The 41st anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day (November 20, 1982 - November 20, 2023) ended in a joyful and warm atmosphere. Honored and proud, each teacher, officer, employee and learner will always try and make every effort to excellently complete all political tasks of the University, contributing to building and develop the University to become an excellent center of training, scientific research, and international cooperation in the region and the world.
